Description
Marks an Object as an intercom device capable of intercom-related Operations.
Conferences and group calls
Conferences spanning multiple calls as they are used in telephony, are not supported for intercom. Instead, usually group calls which have more than two participants are used for intercom. Group calls are usually started by calling a single group entity in the underlying intercom system. Therefore, a Connect Operation that supports only a single target identifier is sufficient. Whether or not the Call Activity then contains one participant representing the group or multiple participants representing the individual group members, is up to the Device Adapter or rather the underlying intercom system.

Connect
Operation to start a new call (i.e., connect to another intercom station). The intended callee can be identified by specifying either the dial number or the Object URL of the device to call.

Note: Only either one of the parameters url or targetnum may be provided. The behaviour is undefined otherwise.
@CallConnect ≥adapter 0.1.0
Operation to start a new call from the local intercom station to another intercom station. The intended callee is identified by the Object URL of the device to call.
WinGuard automatically offers this Operation if the following prerequisites are met:
- The adapter supports ≥adapter 0.1.0.
- The adapter offers a Connect Operation with the
urlProperty. - A local intercom station is configured.
- The callee and the caller belong to the same Extension instance.
When triggered, the adapter does not need to listen for the @CallConnect Operation directly. Instead, @CallConnect calls the adapter’s own Connect Operation, passing the Object URL of the callee as the url Property. The Connect Operation must therefore support establishing a call to the designated intercom station via this url Property.
Note: For adapter versions <adapter 0.1.0, WinGuard also provides the @CallConnect Operation. This legacy variant behaves differently and is not covered by this description.
