Event Operations
Events may specify additional Operations that can be executed from within an Event. WinGuard triggers specific Event Operations in specific situations if they are defined in the adapter’s Module XML.
Event Operations do not target a specific Object but an Event. Hence, the URL sent by WinGuard along with the Operation is set to the URL of the Event and not to the URL of the Object. However, the URL of the Object can be obtained from the URL of the Event by removing the Event’s suffix. For more information on URLs, see URL.
Ack
There are App Settings in the Extension Settings to configure sending the “Ack” Event Operation when an App Event is accepted, deferred or completed.
Reset
The “Reset” Event Operation is sent by WinGuard for a specific Event when an App Event is reset in WinGuard via the “Reset” button. This button is not displayed by default, but can be configured to appear in the event list toolbar, for example.
In addition, there are App Settings in the Extension Settings to configure sending the “Reset” Event Operation for a specific Event when an App Event is accepted, deferred or completed.
Alternatively, the “Reset” Event Operation is sent by WinGuard when all App Events are reset in WinGuard via the “Reset All” button. This button is displayed in the event display toolbar by default.
Note: The “Reset” Event Operation is only sent by WinGuard if the corresponding App Event has not yet been ended.

SoundOff
The “SoundOff” Event Operation is sent by WinGuard when the “Horn Off” button is clicked. This button is displayed in the event display toolbar by default.
Investigate
The “Investigate” Event Operation is sent by WinGuard when the “Investigate” button is clicked. This button is not displayed by default, but can be configured to appear in the event list toolbar, for example.
In addition, the “Investigate” Event Operation is sent automatically by WinGuard when an App Event is accepted, the “Investigate” Event Operation is defined in the adapter’s Module XML for the Event associated to this App Event.
